When we first meet Jill, she is a sad, young girl, who is repeatedly preyed upon by bullies. After arriving in Narnia, however, Jill becomes a new person. She is brave and wishes to appear fearless, something that in her impatience to prove herself causes harm to others. Jill also has difficulty trusting others..... opening up...... a lack of faith. In the end, she must find her faith in order to complete her task.

Like Jill, Eustace has a problem keeping the faith. They are also similar because Eustace is brave. He also learns the value of friendship. Jill saw that she needed a friend..... Eustace had to appreciate what having a friend meant.
