Scarlet Letter Chapter 10 (X) The Leech and his patient
Chillingworth is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is a man of medicine, he looks kind and concerned. Dimmesdale is constantly ill, his sin is eating away at him. Chillingworth seems like a man that can help him. Dimmesdale is unable to see clearly because he is ill and wracked with guilt.
