What predictions can be made about Dimmesdale and Chilling worth after chapter 9?

From reading Chapter Nine, we can predict that Chillingworth will increase his hold over Dimmesdale and use the man's tenuous emotions to serve his own purposes.... namely, to ruin him in a bid for revenge.
