What does Hester ask of Chillingworth? What is his response?

Hester wants to reveal to Dimmesdale who Chillingworth really is. She wants Chillingworth to leave the minister alone, to allow his punishment to be meted out by God not man. She asks him to leave him alone, and he refuses.
