The three main scaffold scenes

I have a "journal" to write after reading "The Scarlet Letter" and one of the questions I have to answer is, "Explain how the three scaffold scenes helps determine the structure of the novel." So if you have any ideas or know where I could find this information out that would be great.

Haha! I came on here looking for the same answer. I'm really not sure, as to how she wants us to determine how the scenes determine the structure of the novel?

i just iwant summery for ''scarlet letter and notes about scaffold scence.also i will be thankful if there is some novels and books about english literature. i study engliah literature and i don't have materials for reading about literature
