I loved this book for two main reasons:

First, its exploration of American Puritanism was and continues to be the leading cultural conception of what hypocrisy can be within a Protestant social project. Second, its eternal human value of the profundity of sacrificial love and its enormous power is a striking witness to those who will take the time to read carefully.
