In this lesson plan, students will be given two opportunities to use modern technology to engage with "The Sandman" and its themes. In the Day 1 activities "A Bento Box for You, Mr. Sandman?" and "Do We Have Any Romanticists Here in the Room?", students will be able to leverage Google Slides and Adobe Spark to create compelling graphics and visual compilations tied to the ideas expressed in the story. In both of these activities, these technologies will provide an outlet for students' creativity and allow them to practice analytical and presentation skills.
