In Tours, they become friends of Queen Clotilda. They learn of the political turmoil in the Frankish kingdom as they visit the religious relics. The Queen is very religious and would like her youngest grandson to join the Church. He does just that when his brothers are murdered by their uncles and he must escape the Kingdom to save his life. Chlodovald wants to join the Church and brings a gift from his grandmother, the Holy Grail. He spends his life in the Church and only returns to his home to bring his faith to the people.
