Boy Wille explains to his father that the land is the only things he's ever give him. He tells his father how he used to watch him...... how the one thing his father always said was that he'd spent his life working for others because he had nothing of his own. Boy Willie appeals to the things he has seen, and the things his father has shared with him. He appeals to the dreams his father once had.
