Why do you think Charlie wants to remain anonymous? Have there been times when you wish you could have, or did?

Charlie is the quiet guy... he doesn't talk, and he doesn't want to draw attention to himself, so it only makes sense that he would want to remain anonymous.

In my opinion, everyone has experienced a time or experience, in which, they could have remained anonymous.
