why does pony realize he doen't like dally? can you explain what he means by this?

Again, Pony realizes he doesn't like Dally because Dally's not like anyone else he knows; he's too real, too human....... far different than the rest of the Gresers. Dally's toughness and lack of fear frightens Pony.
