The Soc boys we get to know are Bob Sheldon and Randy Adderson. Both seem aggressive and determined to hurt Greasers who are weaker than them. Bob feels unnoticed by his parents so he acts out to get attention. After Bob's death, Randy has a change of heart: he no longer wants to fight.
