Explain whether or not Vera’s joke is funny?

Vera's Joke is funny as it send Mr. Nuttel dashing out of the house completely freaked out. On the other hand, it is mean as Mr. Nuttel has extremely jittery nerves. This must be a scary event for him especially. I think that, although cruel, the practical joke was funny nonetheless.

i think i is not a joke since framton was suffering from a nerve problem and the doctors also recommend him to avoid any mental exitement .therefore vera should not have done such thing ,because it must have caue even more complicated problem for framton which might have caused death
