Are there any literature classics/acclaimed books that TNC can be compared to analytically?

I'm currently studying A-Level English Literature and part of my grade is to write a coursework piece of comparison of any two books of my choice. The obvious answer would be choose a more renowned book than The Night Circus, but this is one of my all time favourites and I can't help but think there is a possibility I could get this right. The question of comparison is made by too, so theme can be anything. So far I'm looking into Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Catch 22 based on the themes of conflict in relationships, but I'm working on better reasonings. Any suggestions?
