what do you like or dislike about Rainsford? explain

The only quality I find difficult to like about Rainsford is his lack of empathy. None-the-less, I think his experience on the island would have cured that trait, but we're never apprised of the way he feels after the hunt is complete. The story ends, and it's up to us to us to come to that conclusion on our own.
