Why, do you think, has Grete's attitude toward Gregor changed ?

I believe Grete became disenchanted and overwhelmed. Her new responsibilities outside the home made her feelings of responsibility toward her brother unbearable. She resented having to come home from work and take charge of his needs in addition to everthing else. Gregor became a burden she no longer wished to carry.
