How come Teresa is the only girl who arrived at the Box/Glade? Why does Teresa say, "Thomas", and everyone in the Glade stares at Thomas?

Teresa is sent as the last "greenie." She says Thomas' name because they worked together, although that fact will not be revealed until later in the novel.
