Do you have any sympathy for any of the characters in the story except Mrs. Tessie Hutchison? Why?

I believe that we can feel a sense of sympathy for Tess' husband, Bill, and their children. They will have to live with taking part in Tess' murder for the rest of their lives. We can also question whether or not they will ever feel guilt over her death.
