Foreshadowing Foreshadowing is when an author creates clues to let the reader predict that something bad might happen.

Read Chapter 9 pages 100-102 as Edmund is walking towards the witches house. From “It was getting pretty bad….this had been Peter’s fault.” List adjectives used by Lewis in this passage to describe: The temperature The weather The landscape The light Time of day How is Lewis foreshadowing that something bad might happen to Edmund?
