on chapter 7 Luke sat down with percy and told him why annabeth was so excited that percy was here

Liuke explains to Percy that the quest Annabeth was waiting for depended on a new arrival, and that she believed every new arrival to the "the one". For Annabeth, this would mean that she was ready for her quest.
