Why does Haoyou make lots of kites and then sell-them and not make a kite, sell-it, make a kite, sell-it…?

I'm not sure what you mean by this question. Haoyou starts making kites to sell after his father died. Then their house catches on fire from the fireworks and Haoyou's kites are destroyed.
