Haoyou did not want to turn his hobby into his occupation but had little choice. He wanted to be an artist and breadwinner but becomes resigned to making kites for a living. Haoyou was, however, very good at it. People came to see his kites and ask what his next creation would be. Haoyou got satisfaction from this. By the end of the chapter the fireworks had ignited Haoyou's hose on fire which causes much sorrow.
