The protagonist of the play, father of Abigall. In the New Testament, Barabas is the murderer who is released from prison instead of Jesus (see Luke 23:19-23).

Barabas is famous trader of Malta. He is tragic hero prsented by Christopher Marlow. He does not care for anyone. he is true follower of machiavellian philosophy but somtimes he look different when he keeps on killing the people who cause hurdle in the way of achieving his evil designs. He even kills his daughter Abigaill
