Prendick then begins to describe the Beast Folk in more detail, noting the chief differences between them and humans: disproportionately small legs, outward curvature of the spine, muzzle-like and protruding faces, and deformed hands. M'ling is "a bear tainted with dog and ox."There are many other descriptions like the "Leopard Man " and horse-rhinoceros combination.
