What Hobbit qualities are challenged in the first few chapters?

The first would probably be their neatness and organization....... the dwarves immediately make a mess and drive Bilbo crazy.

They also clean out his "ever full" pantry.

Hobbits don't like adventure, they like to stay home, but Bilbo does accompany them.

Bilbo, like most Hobbits is an introvert........ and yet his altercation with the dwarves shows us some spunk.
