What was the main difference between bilbo and the dwarves in terms of his appearance

Dwarves are similar stature but more ancient looking built for mountain dwelling. They tended to be warlike. They were burly and mountain dwelling. Hobbits too were small but meant more for farming and certainly not built for conflict.
