The Handmaid's Tale

What is the relevance of this here?

'Ringness is all' is from Hamlet, when he facing a duel in which he might be killed. His attitude is that death is comming sooner or later anyway, so it doesn`t mattar. What is the relevance of this here?

The relevance adheres to the belief in Gilead that everyone has a specific purpose and nothing more. Nothing matters............ if you fight it you die. Maybe this applies more to Moira than anyone else.......... she knows what the end result will be and decides it worth taking the chance, and she does.
