According to A.J. Rich, what are the possible dangers of online dating?

The Hand the Feeds You by A.J. Rich is a narration about a young lady called Morgan who finds love using social media. While in college, she starts dating Bennett and lastly falls in love with him. A.J. Rich points out misinformation as the first danger of online dating. Online dating involves people who are conversing using the internet with no ability to see either party physically. Therefore, attaining the credibility of the information provided is very difficult. For instance, after Morgan moves in with Bennett, she realizes that he had fed her with false information about his identity. Secondly, online dating does not provide a platform for one to understand the character of the other. During the online dating period, Morgan did not know that Bennett is an abusive man. After moving in together, Morgan is mistreated by Bennett on various occasions. Therefore, online dating can only be good if one can ascertain the credibility of the information provided. Otherwise, one will end getting married to a person like Bennett who hides his identity.

Did the police commit animal injustice when they killed one of Morgan’s dogs and carried the rest with them?

The narrator in the story helps the reader handstand the love of Morgan for dogs. She is passionate about animals especially dogs. The dogs probably realize that their owner is loving and caring so they decide to protect her at all means. The dogs witness how Bennett mistreats Morgan and they are not happy about that. Unfortunately, there is no human being who stands for Morgan whenever she is abused by Bennett. When Morgan leaves for work leaving Bennett at home, the dogs decide to do just for her. They kill Bennett tearing him into pieces. When she returns, she is shocked and decides to call the police. When the police arrive, they kill one to do and take the rest away. Killing the one dog is animal injustice because the dog acted innocently just to protect her master. As the police came to realize later, Bennett is an individual with a false identity who takes advantage of harming others. As much as the killing of Bennett is not justifiable, killing the dog that is protecting her master from an enemy is not justifiable either.

What does Morgan mean when she asks, Does a symbiotic quirk in the brain of the abuser also exists in the emotional makeup of the victim?”

Morgan says these words after she realizes that the man, she moved in with is sociopathic and wonders whether she falls in the same category too. Despite being a graduate from a criminal justice college, she fails to understand how possible it is for her to fall for the wrong man without discovering any trace of truth. Besides, she discovers that she has a history of falling for sociopathic suitors. She is wondering if whether the abuser and the victim think from a similar line.
