Why does Nick admire Gatsby when he disapproves him from beginning to end?

Nick believes that Gatsby is better than all the others because genuinely cares about people and their feelings. Gatsby is the one person who was honest about his intent.... he worked for his dreams, and although he may not always followed the proper channels, he did it for love. Gatsby believed in the dream.... he didn't relaized the dream was an illusion.
