What would have been gatsbys last thoughts before he got shot?

chapter 9

any theories on what he could have been thinking before he died, just after getting out of the pool?

did he have high hopes and plannign a future with daisy for when she calls? or was hed upset and angry at daisy so was he planning on living for himself and forgetting about daisy?

He would probably have been thinking of Daisy: Gatsby was obsessed with Daisy. Daisy was the reason for everything he had become
