what is the development of a dynamic character in chapter 7?(any character)

I'm going to argue that there are no dynamic characters in The Great Gatsby. Although Gatsby ceases to throw his wild parties in Ch. 7, he has not essentially changed. He is still lost in his illusions thinking that he can erase the past and create his own reality. The rest of the characters do not really change as well.
