"See!" he cried triumphantly. "It's a bona-fide piece of printed matter. It fooled me. This fella's a regular Belasco. It's a triumph. What thoroughness! What realism!

So is Gatsby the real deal or just a facade? Owl Eyes seems rather impressed that the books in Gatsby's library are actually books and not merely covers with filler inside. Of course, we can also wonder if Gatsby might just be more meticulous in his facade.
