In Jordan’s description of Daisy’s Louisville background, what indications are given that show that Daisy really did love Jay Gatsby?

Daisy was not happy when she married Tom. On her wedding day, Daisy got roaring drunk, cried uncontrollably, threw her expensive pearls which were a present from Tom in the trash, and almost called off her wedding. She was so despondent that they had to throw her in the bathtub to sober her up. After which, they dressed her.

Daisy had received a mysterious letter, and for some reason the letter set her off. The way Jordan tells the story we're led to believe it's from Gatsby. As readers, we’re not sure what the letter said, but we do know this note from Gatsby almost made her throw her wedding away before it even started.
