The Great Gatsby

How does this change or clarify your opinions about Gatsby's intentions or expectations?

On page 110, Gatsby says: "I'm going to fix everything just the way it was before," he said, nodding determinedly. "She'll see". How does this change or clarify your opinions about Gatsby's intentions or expectations?

Gatsby expects to resume him relationship with Daisy exactly where they left off..... as if she'd never married, had a child, or lived a life of her own. Gatsby expects too much.
