How does readers feel about Nick Carraway?

This depends on the reader. Generally, readers have found Nick to be a reliable enough narrator to trust his judgments through the novel. Nick is not part of the filthy rich socialites of East Egg. He identifies with the American middle class which most readers happen to resemble.
