Tom is rich and powerful, he feels himself to be entitled because of his wealth and status and acts accordingly. Life has always been easy, and Tom gets what he wants regardless of the emotional cost to others. He is arrogant and feels himself superior...... his money and status give him an allowance to do anything he likes.
