chapter 4 According to Jordan, what did Daisy do on her wedding day? Why?

According to Jordan, Daisy got drunk, cried and through her pearls away that Tom had given her and she almost called off the wedding. She did this because of a letter she recieved from Gatsby.

According to Jordan, Daisy got drunk, and she found her with a letter in one hand and a bottle of sauterne in the other. She wanted to call off the wedding and wouldn't let go of the letter. Then she took it into the bath and wadded it into a ball until it fell apart. Later, she was married as if nothing had happened.
