The Gray Man Imagery

The pictures of murdered US soldiers

Sense of sight is depicted when the Al Jazeera journalists take a picture of two murdered US soldiers to show the world the supremacy of the Al Qaida terrorist organization. The mission of Al Qaida is to mislead the world to believing that they have conquered Syria and Northern Iraq. Al Qaida smuggled the Al Jazeera journalists from the Syrian border to use them for propaganda purposes. Whenever the Al Qaida terrorists kill an American soldier, they command the journalists to take pictures and share them on their social media platforms.

The militiaman at the gate

The author depicts sensory imagery when writing, “The militiaman put down his lunch. He walked purposely towards the pickup truck in the middle of the road. He put a hand up to his ear as if he did not hear Yemen's shout." This imagery portrays the Yemen militia working alongside Al Qaida's arrogance. When the Yemen driver gets to the gate operated by the Iraq militia, he orders them to open or shoot them on the spot. When the gateman tries to resist, he is shot instantly to pave the way for the Al Qaida to pass. The sound of gunshots is heard, and the confrontation does not persist for long because the Al Qaida team overpowers the gate militia.

The scenes of the injured soldiers

Al Qaida is causing havoc in Iraq, and the crime scenes are heartbreaking. The brutally injured American soldiers are carried on the track without medication attention. The bodies of the dead soldiers are spread all over. Similarly, the Al Qaida victims are seen all over. These scenes of dead bodies show the devastating effects of war. The innocent civilians are also helpless because they are caught in the middle of the conflict, and in most cases, Al-Qaida uses them as human shields.
