I'm not sure exactly what your question is here, this is more of a statement. Much of the story is told from Rahel's perspective as a seven-year-old girl and as a thirty-one-year-old woman. The child's perspective tends to be more honest and often brutal but it lacks he insight that you get from a more mature perspective.
