In the book 'The Giver', what did everyone do for fun?

Whatever "fun" they had was strictly controlled. They had recreation areas but different ages could only play certain games. Kids could not ride bikes until they become a Nine. Jonas, Asher, and others play a shooting game but Jonas stops it when he realizes that they have no concept of what war entails.
