How does Jonas community limit the population, birthmothers and adoption

I suppose a pro would be they achieve their desired intentions. Population is not only limited, it is quality controled. That is they weed out any unfavourable babies.

The cons are basically that this practice is barbaric and basically murder!

The birth mothers are mere vessels for the babies to be born. These women become sexual slaves and receptacles to give other parents their babies. If the baby isn't "normal" it is basically killed.

They only let the birth mothers have 3 babies,and family's only are to have 2 children
