Students will be able to consider what constitutes a good or heroic life

Ask students to begin by writing the following fifteenen-minute reflection:
Think about your favorite books/movies/television shows/etc. Are they closer to Hazel's or Augustus's worldview about the value of a person's life? What kind of life do they promote? What do you think makes a life good or heroic or valuable, and how do you think you developed those beliefs?
Students should then find a partner and share their reflections.
