What specific details in the story thus far suggest that Usher's belief is reflected by his surroundings?

Usher is falling apart both physically and mentally reflect his surroundings. His dark melancholy is also reflected in the gothic appearance of the house and its contents. In the end his zombie sister Madeline pretty much sums up the apocalypse.
