Usher and his family have some creepy vibes. We never know exactly what is going on but it can't be good. Usher's relationship is suspect. There is a definite subtext of an incestuous relationship going on. For whatever reason, everything about Usher and his house is decomposing. Perhaps the culmination of the rotting of old sins best left unexplained are the cause of the final carnage.
