The nature of relationship between May and Maeve.

Is there a "physical relationship" between May and her aunt Maeve in the novel?

Although Maeve does not marry or have children, but she is a loving aunt to May and Kevin. I'm not sure what you mean by "physical" relationship but I think the relationship was inappropriate.
