    Objective:

    Students will create art to compare a character’s self-perception with another character’s perception of him or her.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.R.1, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.R.3, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.R.6

    Structure:

    First, ask students to choose a character to focus on from their reading to date. Next, ask them to review the text for evidence of what a character thinks and feels from that character’s perspective.
