The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett

What does Peter mean when he says he is "a lone wolf"? What contrast do the playwrights reveal between Anne and Peter in this passage?

In making this statement, Peter infers that he isn't sociable. The playwrights reveal that Anne has a lot of friends and plans.... unlike Peter, who has no plans, and no one who will mark his absence.
