why might Christopher not like other people?

Christopher finds most people exhausting. Chris has high functioning autism, consequently he doesn't process emotion the same way as many people. Chris doesn't understand the social queues and seemingly endless emotional interpretations that take place in social interactions. Chris thinks literally which makes most social scenarios awkward and tiering.
