Do you believe Christopher when he tells Siobhan he is not sad about his mother and Mr.Shears having an affair?

I think Chris has a point but does not fully process emotional implications. Christopher explains that he isn't sad about his mother's affair because she is dead, and Mr. Shears hasn't lived there in a long time. Christopher thinks it's foolish to be sad about things that don't exist.
