In this chapter Christopher explains that there are mysteries for which we have no answer, but science will one day explain all. Lightening was a mystery before they realized it was electricity, and one day ghosts will be explained too.This is a perfectly valid way of looking at the world. People with methodical and scientific minds look at the world this way.
